The purpose of Dwell, LLC is to provide transitional housing for women coming in recovery, free from incarceration, domestic abuse or divorce. Dwell, LLC partners to develop independent life skills based on Biblical principles necessary to sustain a lifestyle of recovery to include safe, secure permanent housing placement and future progress in life.
Why We’re Here
Dwell exists to provide safe, affordable, temporary housing for women and their children under the age of 18, unless enrolled in college. Dwell will serve women in recovery, victims of domestic violence, divorce, released from incarceration or suffering financial hardships.
Our purpose is to equip the women with life skills, such as:
- Budgeting and financial planning
- Parenting
- Group Therapy
- Individual Therapy
- 12 step meetings/Support Groups – AA – NA
- Job Skills Training
Help Us Help Women
Our goal is to house at least 15 women in our first year. We will partner with Families First of Mississippi, WIN Job Center, Christian Women’s Job Corp., The Studio Aveda Salon, JCJC and the surrounding Chamber of Commerce to find local businesses providing second chance employment for convicted felons.
